Understanding the Times mission is to help people contend for the faith, understand current events from a biblical perspective and become a “watchman on the wall”. This weekly one-hour interview and commentary program features Jan Markell, founder of Olive Tree Ministries along with special guests.
Jan Markell founded Olive Tree Ministries in 1982. She has authored eight books and produced over a dozen DVD’s. Jan is a guest writer for several web sites and periodicals and a much sought after guest for radio hosts around the country.
Her own radio program, Understanding the Times, is heard domestically on over 750 radio stations including, American Family Network and Bott Radio Network, and CSN. The program can also be heard across the country on Sirius-XM satellite radio and around the world, on demand, via the internet.
